About Crumpet
Crumpet came into care after being found in the middle of a road. It was thought that he was the victim of a car accident as he had difficulty walking. After time in "The Animal Referral Hospital" It was determined that he was born deaf and with some neurological issues. This means he walks with an ataxic gait. In other words he's a wobble cat. We have tried him with other kitties and he wants to play, but unfortunately they push him over and he gets frustrated. Everyone that meets him instantly falls in love with him. He is one of the most endearing kitties we've ever met. He has so much love to offer and a big voice that talks when he sees you.
He's special needs, to a safe indoor home as an only kittie. Single level, like a unit would be great as on a trial he tumbled down the stairs.

Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Casa or Alexandria at Kittie Kat Rescue, after the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
