Magpie is the gentlest soul with so much love to give, and is looking for a family that will always want her right by their side.

During her time in foster care she has built up a lot of trust when it comes to meeting new people and dogs on her daily walks. Magpie loves going for a few short walks throughout the day, but is still getting used to having a lead attached to her! She would benefit greatly from some training in both lead walking, and also learning some basic commands.

Magpie is looking for a calm household, where excessive napping is always allowed. She can be left for a few hours throughout the day, but will stick by your side when you get home.
Magpie will need to be an indoor dog at night, preferably with company close by.
She doesn’t mind having another dog in the house, as long as they are calm and non dominant; the attention also needs to be equal! Cats are a no go for this gorgeous girl unfortunately.

She hasn’t mastered household stairs yet. Going up is easy for her now, but she won’t be able to get herself back down. Maggie would prefer older kids who understand her background, and are gentle and encouraging.

As soon as Magpie knows you’re her forever family, she will be loyal and loving day in and day out. She truly is the most trusting girl, and just wants to call you hers!!!
