Sophie

*sophie is currently trialling her new home* sophie and abbie would have to be up there as two of the most gentle, sweet-natured dogs sarg has ever rescued from our local pound. Picked up by a local laws officer as they were wandering mildura’s streets the sister’s are now looking for a home of their own where they’ll be loved forever. Their carer affectionately calls them ‘the hairy bums’ because of their gorgeous blonde feathery curls which seem to grow longer around the back half of their bodies! both dogs enjoy being groomed and a regular brushing will stop their fur from becoming tangled and knotty. Neither one appears to lose much hair. Lovely laidback sophie is the smaller one of the pair though not for long now that she’s recovering from her nasty upper-respiratory infection she picked up at the pound which really knocked her around – she’s finally getting her appetite back ?. Both sophie and abbie are great with other dogs. They are good with children too though young, boisterous ones could be a bit overwhelming for these gentle-natured creatures. Neither are yappy or licky and if they do jump up for a pat they’re so soft about it. Both girls are toilet trained and have lovely manners when indoors so would very much appreciate their inside / outside lifestyle continuing in their forever home. Neither dog appears to have ever walked on a lead before so we’re working on that by slowly building their confidence up. Sophie is a little smoocher who enjoys cuddles and snoozing next to the fireplace!
