About Hansel
*In foster care in Strathfield, Sydney*
Hansel is such a sweet darling - she turns on her big purr the second you start patting her! Once she feels comfortable in her new space with her new people, she becomes a massive smooch who is highly motivated by food and loves ham as a special treat :)
This lovely young lady prefers to live life on her own terms, though she will let you pick her up for a quick cuddle every now and then. She'll be well suited to somebody looking for a quiet companion who enjoys her own space and will respect yours too!
Like all Maggie's pets, Hansel is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have room for me to run around and explore, and hidey-holes for me to escape to when I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'd love to be given some supervised outdoor time (a secure enclosure would be even better!), but I'll also be perfectly happy as an indoor-only cat. Another friendly kitty to bond with would be the cherry on top!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Fairly moderate - though I do enjoy a good romp around with the other cats in my foster home at least once a day!
I am also very active at night so a feline friend would be good to help release my energy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kids aren't for me, sadly. I'm looking for a peaceful home with a single person or couple.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd love to live with another cat! - ideally around the same age as me or younger, so we can get up to mischief together. Unfortunately I won't be suitable for a home with a resident dog.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
