About Moose
This beautiful big girl is Moose, she is a 10mth old Great Dane x.
Moose is great with other dogs, is fine with cats, curious of chickens (likes to play tag) but because of her size better not for her to be around them. She's not a barker or digger, will chew some things if left laying around, loves car rides, she loves her humans and after her pats will lay down close to them, she loves to play tuggy with her foster brothers, and loves squeaky toys.
She is food trained and knows to sit and wait for command before eating dinner, she is patient when sitting in line with her foster brothers waiting for her treat, as by her pics she is very chilled and loves play time with her foster brothers.
She is quite strong so can pull at first when going on a walk, but settles nicely once she gets over her initial excitment.
She is a fence jumper so will need high fencing. She will also be best suited to a family who already have a large breed dog who likes to play, as she is very playful and needs a friend to burn off some of her energy.
Moose's adoption fee is $400 and available for 2 week trial with a $50 refundable deposit.
WE DO NOT OFFER PAYMENT PLANS.
Adoption details
All dogs are vet checked, desexed, microchipped, C3 vaccinated, wormed, heartworm and flea/tick treated.
ADFC house all dogs with foster carers in private homes. This allows them to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. We then have an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dog may suit your family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial - $50 deposit. If the dog doesn't fit with your family, they will be returned to us and deposit refunded.
To arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs please message this page or call 0447 175511.
The committee and carers of ADFC are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiry straight away.
