About Lilo
Meet our big, beautiful, sweet, and playful 16mth old girl “Lilo”. She is a large size dog with the typical energy and protective instinct of a loyal shepherd. Although mainly Dane in looks and movement she has mostly GSD traits, including the Shepherd lean and talk to you. Lilo responds well to training, learns quickly, and is very eager to please. She loves mentally stimulating activities and attention from her humans.
Lilo is good with other dogs, is a good player, she would play fetch all day long if she could. She will be the first to greet visitors hoping they will play with her; she is still a big playful pup. She would not suit a home with children under 12yrs of age or a home with a shy timid dog as she is big and still learning how to play gently. She is very treat- motivated which is perfect for you to continue with her training successfully. You will be rewarded with a loyal, loving, and entertaining furever friend.
Lilo will need a home without cats, pocket pets or livestock. You will also need 6ft fences as she will go looking for you when you leave home if you do not have high fencing.
Lilo knows several commands including, sit, shake hands, wait for food, fetch, back, drop, roll over, she is house trained, and crate trained. She LOVES going in the car with you, the back of a ute ride is one of her favourite things.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.

• You have a very large size yard.
• Lilo will not be alone more than 3-5hrs.
• You will allow Lilo to be part of the family and allow her access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol her in obedience training.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You have experience with her breeds or a similar large breed.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer Lilo will be considered. Please note if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
