About Evan
EVAN is a tricolour Irish Wolfhound cross, born on 22 May 2020. He weighed 25.7 kgs on 22 January 2021 and is about the same size as a border collie.
Still just a puppy, Evan is an affectionate, gentle and easygoing youngster that just craves human company. He loves people!
He has been well socialised and is good with children and, with a proper introduction, other dogs. He is particularly good with kids and is respectful towards them.
With training, Evan will make an outstanding and loyal family pet. He can sit and most of the time will stay, but he pulls on the lead. Fortunately, he's intelligent and eager to please so will learn his manners easily.
He has been known to climb a fence when left alone for long periods, so needs secure fencing to keep him safe.
Preference will be given to applicants who have prior experience with Irish Wolfhounds or other large breeds and can offer Evan a home where someone is around most of the time or there is another compatible dog for him to play with.
Evan is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and his adoption fee is $595.
He is untested with cats.
If you are interested in meeting him, please complete the online application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/
Applicants must be willing to travel to Warwick to meet Evan.
