Thor

Thor is a lovely young man looking for a home to call his own.

When he first arrived, Thor was terrified of his new world. He didn't trust anyone and it took a long time for the staff to gain his trust. Once he realised that humans meant food and walks, he turned into a different dog. He can still be very nervous in new situations, so his new family will need to be able to introduce him to new things slowly. He is wary of strangers coming into his property and he will need to be introduced to them slowly.

He has previously lived with a small child, but can be a bit rambunctious and may prove to be a bit much for small children to handle. When he gets excited he can become jumpy and mouthy and we would love to see Thor be rehomed to a family who can help to teach him how to act appropriately around them.

Thor is friendly to other dogs and will happily walk past them if they are barking. He likes to play with other dogs and is quite well behaved, but is very energetic which can put some other dogs off. He is a big hearted dog who will make the right family very happy.
