About Budge (Bruce)
He's a Tripod But There's No Holding Him Back...
Meet Budge (pronounced Boodge)...
Budge was taken to our vet over 6 weeks ago with horrendous injuries to his back leg which had to be amputated as a result.
His family did not visit him at all and did not respond to multiple phone calls and messages. It was clear that they were not going to pick him up and time was marching on. Budge needed to be out running and playing in order to strengthen his other legs so that he could have the optimal outcome after his amputation. As a result, Paws, Hoofs and Claws have taken ownership of this friendly young lad.
Thank you to Olivia who has become a new carer and is looking after Budge. Olivia has nicknamed him Bruce and tells me that he is a happy dog who gets on famously with her own dog called Lara. They are best buddies already. He loves to play and socialise and has a heap of fun at the dog park with lots of new friends.
You would hardly know that he was minus one leg as he has such a joy for life and his enthusiasm is contagious.
Budge will be a wonderful companion who is happy to "share the love."
