About Susan DL2630
Susan was very shy on arrival, but has now started to come out of her shell and is living life to the fullest! She has been a star on her walks and is happy to sniff dogs when walking past. She is great while walking on lead and will happily follow your lead for reassurance.
Susan's favourite things are pats, belly rubs, walks and car rides. A smart and attentive girl, she loves training, especially when you have treats on hand. She is a very quick learner and will sit and wait patiently for her food. She will need committed, ongoing training to help build her confidence and skills to reach her full potential.
This lovely girl is house trained and well behaved in the home. She is happy to stay home and nap while you are out, however, she may bark when she hears loud noises outside. She absolutely adores cuddles and will let you know when she wants more by putting her paw on your lap.
Susan is still working on her anxiety when around strangers, particularly men. At home, she is suited to being your only dog so she can have all the cuddles to herself. She hasn't yet met cats or young kids, though will be most comfortable in a quieter household.
If you'd love to welcome Susan into your home, email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply!
