About Comet
Comet
Location: Burwood, Vic
We have been approached by the RSPCA Burwood to help Comet.
Comet is a beautiful 6 year old brindle Boxer who is full of life. He is a big robust boy that can be a bit of a cannon ball.
He has had a tiny mast cell tumour removed from his ear which means he lost part of his ear, which makes him look extra cute (pictures were taken prior to the procedure).
This outgoing and boisterous boy is very dog social and loves to give other dogs kisses. We suspect he is a little visually impaired so time and patience with that is a must. It does not seem to stop him being silly though.
As we mentioned he is a boisterous bouncy big boy so he will need a strong leader, one that can hold on to all that enthusiasm at the end of the lead. Since he has hardly any training we hope with routines, structure and consistency he will become a wonderful family member to someone lucky.
Comet has been with the RSPCA since the beginning of the month due to being surrendered so we want to get him into his forever home ASAP.
He is not coping too well and is chewing the wire of the cage, boxers never should be locked up and we want to change that rather sooner than later.
There is not one single mean bone in this handsome boy, he will knock over young children though. Not meaning bad, he just so happy that he jumps like a roo.
