About Bentley ~ 8yr Old Mini Foxie X (On Trial 02/03/21)
Bentley is an 8 year old Mini Fox Terrier X, weighing in at 7.5 kg. He is a very friendly boy with lots of love to give and loves to be involved with all our family activities. He will be timid on first encounters with people but soon settles. I have been advised that he is very scared of very loud engine noises (such as a motorbike), at close range as he experienced a car crash into the house where he lived previously. I have yet to experience this yet, as we are passed by cars and buses on our walk daily which do not bother him at all.
He was living with an elderly lady who has had to go into an aged care home. He had access to outside only, where he enjoyed his walks by a relative a couple of days a week. He is presently being walked twice per day and loving it. He has successfully enjoyed many hours inside with us, and it would not take long to housetrain him. He happily sleeps in his own kennel outside in a protected area under cover at night.
Bentley loves attention and is very devoted to his family. He is good in the car and was happy to join us in our boat on the lake. He mixes very well with other dogs and enjoys the company of our 11 month old dog, and two 7 year old Border Collies also. He was admired by his groomer and was her best behaved client. He is a pleasure to look after and will bring an enthusiastic and gentle nature to your home.
Ideally he would love to share his new home with another dog. He is probably more suited to older children as he sometimes jumps with excitement as he is being approached.
Bentley is currently in foster care in Lake Macquarie (suburb of Newcastle NSW). To apply to adopt Bentley, please complete the application here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt Only those people who have completed the online application will be considered.
