⚡️✨ INTRODUCING ZIGGY! ✨⚡️
Meet Ziggy! After years of living on the streets, this starry-eyed boy has found a love he never knew existed. His journey from colony to care wasn’t an easy one, but looking at him now, you’d never know it.
Nature
Ziggy has come such a long way since he first arrived at his foster home just over four months ago. Before that, he’d been living in the roof of a house with over 50 cats, so he was understandably very scared and not sure what to make of his new human family. Still, with a lot of love and patience, he eventually stopped hissing and even let the funny humans get close enough to sit next to him and touch him with a long-handled scratcher.
He took a special liking to his new furry foster brother, Rusty, who introduced him to the rest of the cat gang and helped him to realise that these humans were just like big friends with food. And the rest, as they say, is history. Now, he likes nothing better than to curl up on the couch with his best buds. No more hiding for this shining star!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Ziggy adores his feline friends and will need to have at least one other friendly cat pal to help him come out of his shell even more. There’s no doubt that his furry foster family have helped him to go from scaredy-cat to (mostly) confident puss in just a few short months - he’s definitely a cat-cat, so the more the better! He hasn’t yet met dogs or children, but as he can still be a little nervous it’s probably best for him to live in a mature home with either no kids or older kids. He may be ok with a friendly laid back dog, but slow introductions would definitely be necessary.
Likes/Dislikes
Ziggy loves his food but he isn’t super food-motivated. He’s a very polite and charming boy who will eat happily with all the other cats. He mostly likes playing with his furry friends, but he will tolerate being near humans and even being scratched with the long-handled scratcher - though he probably had never experienced any sort of human touch or affection before coming into care so he’s still a bit puzzled by it.
He is still a little jumpy and scared sometimes, but that’s pretty understandable. He doesn’t always like people walking right by him, but he’s definitely getting better. Now, it’s just a matter of time until he really comes into his own and accepts the pats and scratches that his furry foster friends love so much!
My PURR-fect home will be one with lots of cats! I will need humans who will give me love and patience for me to come out of my shell and friendly cat siblings to show me the way. Mature kids and very friendly chilled out dogs might be ok, but I am still a little skittish so will do best in a calm and controlled environment.
