Billy is a sweet-natured young boy who is very shy and timid at first, but with lots of treats and pats he quickly comes out of his shell and is quite an affectionate loving boy.

He doesn't appear to have had much exposure to the outside world but his carer has been working on this with him, and he has already shown improvements with car rides and vet visits. He will need an owner who is patient, calm, and happy to work with him using lots of positive reinforcement to slowly improve his confidence.

Billy enjoys being with other dogs and would benefit from having a confident well-balanced doggy friend to show him the world is not such a scary place. He loves being chased and is quite a fast athletic boy so a playmate who can keep up with him would be ideal.

Billy needs to be allowed inside so he can be with his humans but also requires access to the yard. He is mostly toilet-trained and sleeps in a crate at night, but does have the occasional little accident if he is locked inside and is stressed.

Billy would be best suited to a quiet home with a small family, as too many people overwhelm him. Small children would be too much for Billy to handle but he could be ok with respectful teenagers.

Billy is currently living in a home with 6ft fencing but he does not seem to be a jumper so 5ft fencing should be sufficient. He does love his zoomies during play time so a medium to large yard would be ideal. He is untested with cats.
