About Peggy
UPDATE - PEGGY HAS JUST STARTED A TRIAL IN A POTENTIAL NEW FOREVER HOME
Sweet Peggy is looking for her forever home through no fault of her own. Her owner was forced over seas some months ago to care for a very sick parent and has been unable to return to Australia. She has been Peggys loving owner since she was approximately 2 years old and is devastated to have to surrender her however it is clear that she will not be able to return to Australia anytime soon and so she is doing the kindest thing possible for beautiful Peggy so she can settle into a new home where she will be as loved and cared for as she was for the many years she spent with her last owner.
That said, peggy has taken to foster care like a pro! She was quite timid when she first settled in which is quite normal, but she is very happy and back to her playful self now.
Peggy loves to go for short walks a couple of times a day, she does the circle dance and gets very excited at the idea of going out for sniffing time.
She’s a good eater, she loves her carers home cooked food and treats. Most of all she loves to curl up with you, or sit happily beside you in her bed if your working.
Peggy Is looking for a quiet home with people who truely have time to spend with her and will give her lots of pats and cuddles and brush her easy care coat which she enjoys, give her good food and take her out for lots of little walks. She is used to being able to go out into a small garden so that would be ideal if possible or a courtyard /balcony would be ok too.
Peggy is fine with other gentle dogs and would probably be fine with a very easy going cat if there were one in her new home, but she’s very happy to get all the attention in a single dog home. She weighs approx 5 kg. A home without steps or only a few would be best.
Overall Peggy is an absolutely gorgeous and beautiful natured girl who’s easy to love and live with.
