About Nala
Hi! I'm Nala, DUE TO TESTING POSITIVE FOR E.CANIS (TICK DISEASE) AND CURRENTLY BEING TREATED. I CAN ONLY BE ADOPTED WITHIN THE FOLLOWING REGIONS, THE KIMBERLEY, GASCOYNE, MID WEST AND THE PILBARA. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU LIVE IN THE PERTH AREA OR THE SOUTHWEST.
Nala is a feminine given name of multiple cultural origins. Nala is of Arabic and African origin meaning first drink of water or water in the desert. In Swahili and other languages spoken in countries of Africa it means Queen, lion and successful woman. In truth, our Nala is none of these yet but she is just adorable, but hey, who knows in a few short years . . . . .
She can already boast of a kelpie/cattle dog heritage and a beautiful temperament, sweet like the taste of water in the desert and she is playful with it. She is gentle with kids. Nala is learning new things like walking on a lead and she loves visitors as well. She is not a barker but only gives a few yips of joy. She also is a mystery girl with a very short tail. Although at first frightened when she came to SAFE, she is responding well to care. To sum up Nala, very sweet and loves company and like us all, wants to be loved! If you think Nala would fit well into your family contact SAFE now for more information.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
