About Rosen
Rosen is a big, bouncy, snuggle-bug who has already come a long way during her time with her foster family.
From a timid, shy girl who wasn't comfortable being in the house or in the car to a sometimes couch potato who is learning quickly that car rides can be fun. Rosen is friendly and approachable with new people and with other dogs. One of her favourite things is playing tag in the yard with her much smaller foster sister.
Rosen has mastered 'sit' and is always up for spending time outside playing a game of fetch. We're now focusing on 'stay', toilet training and some lead work. As her confidence builds she's going to look forward to daily walks and her foster family knows she'll grow up to be outgoing and adventurous.
She is curious and social and prefers to be around other members of her pack, both dog and human rather than being by herself. Great with dogs of all sizes, she currently lives with 2 little dogs and kids. She responds better to males with regards to training or a female that is a firm leader would also do well.
Rosen has tolerated a bath but it’s definitely not her favourite thing. This will improve with time and encouragement.
Likely to grow to around 40kg, we prefer a family with large breed experience that will offer this girl adventure, activity and family outings. You will need to be committed to her ongoing training and socialisation and ensure she is an integral family member. Her confidence still requires some building, therefore it's imperative that she is taken out and shown the world to be a good, positive place to build her security levels out and about.
She's a higher energy dog and will need an active family who are able to understand and fulfill her mental and physical stimulation needs.
Rosen would do well with another stable, playful dog at home for company and or someone home most days. Inside/outside access is a must as is a bed inside for sleeping near her humans.
If you think you can offer Rosen a wonderful, active life, you can apply by completing the adoption enquiry form on our Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
