About Archie
Check out this little bundle of cuteness!! đ
Archie is on the hunt to find an awesome human or humans to call his own! He is a sweet boy who approx 4 years old and down as a Terrier X! He loves to dance on his hind legs to really pull at your heartstrings and win you over...not that he needs to...he's a super loveable chap! He has made many friends here at SMART of the human and furry kind.
When Archie was found himself in the pound, he also had many freeloaders with him and was riddled with fleas. The lovely people at the pound washed and flea treated him before he came to SMART, he has been to the vets to be checked up since and has had further treatment for his skin condition. He's skin is improving by the day but we can not guarantee it will not be an ongoing thing that may need further treatment.
Medical notes
On medical examination, Archie was found to have periocular alopecia, ocular discharge dorsal hind quarters alopecia. He has been treated with Simparica to rule out mites. He has also been treated with Chlorasone for one week for eyes. Both medications are working well and his skin is improving by the day but we can not guarantee it will not be an ongoing thing that may need further treatment.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
