Boisterous, funny, clumsy and cuddly are just a few words to describe Valek. His zest for life is awesome to see - he loves to run around and play with his toys, but his very favourite things are to play wrestle with the other dogs, followed by eating, followed by sprawling across as much of the couch as he can! He doesnāt cope well with being bored - heās discovered the excitement of digging, so plenty of keeping your eye on him and distractions. Heās a happy boy, and will keep himself occupied when necessary, but he adores being near you, whatever you are doing.
Toilet trained, he sleeps in the laundry with the other pups, and goes all night without a peep - though obviously heās still only a baby and might have the odd accident if left alone too long.
As a baby, he is still mouthing, so weād prefer any children to be over 10, or extremely dog-savvy (his teeth are very sharp and he doesnāt know his own strength/excitement), to prevent any distress for either party, dog or child. He hasnāt been able to be walked yet either, due to vaccination status, but as he is extremely food orientated, lead training should be pretty easy. As with all dogs, Valek would benefit hugely from attending training - socialisation and obedience - as we think heās going to be a big boy. Much better to get the training down now, rather than when heās much bigger and stronger. Full time workers will be considered, but only if they can prove how they will cater for Valekās needs around this - like most dogs, and especially babies, he will not do well being left alone all day every day. Itāll end in boredom, and no one wants a bored dog š
He hasnāt been tested with cats or pocket pets, but is very dog and people friendly. Overall, heāll love you, entertain you, and keep you on your toes. But if youāre looking for a friend for life, Valek might just be the match for you.
