I'm Muslow and only just over a year old but already come with a lot of experiences and an open heart.
Breed(s)
Who knows for sure, but I always considered myself a Bull Arab mix with lots of strong muscles and endurance and when you look into my eyes, you can see my friendly Staffy eyes smiling back at you. Read more about my breeds' personality traits online.
Family Life
I will always be loyal to my family. I like a big family with both humans and dogs around so I can spread my sheer endless love around. But if you are more of a lone soldier, like I used to be, I hope we will be best and closest buddies forever and I'm up for forming a strong bond with you. We shall go through everything together. In any case, I enjoy having company. Don't you? (P.S. I'm yet a little unsure about cats so is better if my new family doesn't have any.)
Settling-in Period and beyond
Don't forget that, despite my size, I'm still a one year old puppy. So I like to play around and I get excited and am curious just about anything. Other dogs, or rather their owners really, may feel a little intimidated by my friendly play. So let's wait with the on and particularly off leash dog parks and beaches until later. However, at home, I'm very respectful to smaller or more fragile dogs and I don't need to be the alpha dog, if that is a concern to you.
Many things may also be new to me, so teach me and tell me that it's okay and that I can feel comfortable in your presence because I know you will take care of these situations and guide me through it. Cool.
Tricks & more
I actually know a few tricks. Well, I will 'sit', 'lay down', 'go this way', 'go in the basket' on command and 'wait' or 'back' off. I will wait patiently until you tell me it is okay to start eating. Unsurprisingly, I can jump a small fence to sniffle around in the front garden (I won't wander too far off) and I'm just learning to not do that. So I'm standing in front of the fence now and wondering what's the point but if it makes you happy.. I will always come back to you if you call me (without any treat or bribes, a "Good boy!" is enough for me) - reassuring, isn't it? Also, we should continue that walk on leash training, I kind of hate it because there are all the smells waiting to be explored but I shall understand - what has to be done has to be done - I know... There are a few techniques that helped me get better at this with improvement, see even over the course of just a few days. Amazing, isn't it?
What else?
Nothing, let's get together. I'm waiting.
