You don't need to leave your home to adopt from us, we do our meet & greets online and bring the cat/kitten to you! How good is that?

Lello is a special boy who requires a patient owner who's willing to work on his confidence and gain his trust. He is an absolute sweetheart once you get through his barriers, and he loves other cats. He would suit a quieter home with older or no kids as he does have sharp little claws and uses them when frightened.
Everyone falls in love with his ginger colour, and he wins hearts everywhere he goes. Lello is currently sharing his foster home with 2 resident male cats, his sister AND a large male rabbit, so he does like to have a play buddy. Not yet tested with dogs. He loves to play, and find little hideaway spots to sleep. He sleeps on the bed at your feet but is also happy on the couch or in his pet bed.

Lello is a healthy raw fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000011406253, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption. His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
