CPOM DOES MELBOURNE AND BEYOND ADOPTIONS!
You don't need to leave your home to adopt from us, we do our meet & greets online and bring the cat/kitten to you! How good is that?
This big handsome panther was left with friends to be looked after... and left there for longer than anticipated! Sadly the resident cats did not take to this big handsome tomcat, he was a bit much for them and he came into care with Cat People of Melbourne for responsible rehoming.
Sir Chomley Slink Esq, affectionately known as Chom Chom (after a delicious dark treat) is a sight to behold. From the tip of his little nose and big British Shorthair head (a bit of breed in there perhaps) to his enormous paws and thick panther tail, he is a magnificent specimen of the feline species. Chom Chom really is a stunner! And then he meows and out comes this little noise that sounds just like Simon's Cat (link for reference https://youtu.be/w0ffwDYo00Q)... it's too funny!
Chom Chom is a friendly interactive boy who thinks people are great, they are the source of love and FOOD! He's rather food obsessed and will eat anything and everything in front of him, and on the benches, and in the fridge (if he could figure out how to get in there). When he's not looking for his next meal, he likes to lounge around keeping everyone company and looking gloriously shiny and handsome. He loves a stroke and a pat, and tries to get along with everyone but Statler the muppet critic has decided Chom Chom is not acceptable and picks fights with him. Chom Chom doesn't start the fights but he will finish them... we believe he was a street panther in his previous life!
Chom Chom would suit a home with guardians that understand sometimes this guy has abandonment issues and gets defensive, and won't take his occasional freakouts personally. Gentle words and slow movements soothe this scared panther and he very quickly presents his head for strokes and soothing.
This big boy was looking for love in all the wrong places, can you show him how it's done and give him the love and understanding he deserves? Submit an enquiry now and meet the magnificence that is Sir Chomley Slink Esq!
Sir Chomley Slink Esq is a healthy raw fed Cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010004960848, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption. His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.
