About Felicia The Floof Queen!
Felicia was adopted from Cat People of Melbourne in 2018, and due to the pandemic her distressed owner can no longer care for her, so she came back to us. This sweet kitten cat had ended up at the pound through no fault of her own at 10 month olds. She wasn't coping in their adoption centre, so she came out into foster care with Cat People. From that moment on Felicia shone! She has slept on the bed with her carer and played 'hunt the foot under the doona', been involved with everything the carer has done, has played and smooch and been a superstar!
Three years on and the only thing that's changed is Felicia is large, fluffier and less kitten crazy! She's the same glorious friendly personality, offering head butts to humans and a friendly sniff and upright tail to cats. The dog is not worthy of comment apparently. Felicia still has the redhead's hot temper and will give a swipe if she's unhappy but it's not often and not without cause. If you have little humans, trim her claws.
She's spending her time in foster care exploring the cat run, lounging around decoratively and playing with anyone on offer.
Felicia is a really attractive barred ginger female, which is quite rare. She has a stunning personality to go with those stunning good looks too. She needs regular brushing to keep that gorgeous medium haired coat looking marvellous, but she thinks it's playtime and attacks the brush. Doesn't mean she doesn't like it, just that... you know it's fun!
Felicia will make an ideal female companion for just about everyone, from a single looking for their best friend, to a family looking to add a new member. Want a superstar? Submit an enquiry for Felicia now, she's waiting for you!
Felicia is a healthy raw fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000009386997, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now! Her adoption fee also includes her annual vaccination at one of our rescue vets.
------------------------------------------------------
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
