Bella Bee is a very reluctant owner surrender, the owner had to go into aged care. Bella is a cute, sassy calico girl with a very expressive tail! Bella has been living the quiet life with her owner and has enjoyed being inside or outside on a lead & harness - she loves her daily outside time and exploring the garden!
Bella was quite offended at her change in circumstances when she first came into foster care, but has adapted well and ignores the resident cats and dog. She grew up with a border collie and if the introduction is done correctly, could quite happily live with cats and dogs as long as they don't hassle her. Bella Bee can be a bit of a princess about her personal space!
Bella Bee is very confident and interactive with people once she gets to know them, but won't come out for strangers. That's a sensible cat! She's been indoors only apart from her lead and harness garden time. Bella Bee is also a fussy eater and is currently driving her foster carer mad by rejecting everything but the Felix fish sauces pouches and Purrs fish pouches... the attempts to get her onto a healthier BARF diet continue.
Being a calico she has the tortitude that comes with it, this is shown when trying to trim her claws. She doesn't like it and she lets you know in no uncertain terms! But it can be done (tip: medication).
Since coming into foster care, we've found Bella Bee to be funny, engaging, cheeky, sassy with a very quivery expressive tail. We think she'd suit anyone looking for a friendly interactive indoor cat who has a cat run, backyard or somewhere she can have her supervised outdoor time on her lead & harness. Bella Bee is a healthy cat (despite her commercial diet) who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #982000405886896, source #RE101165). She comes with her two beds, litter tray, food and lead & harness from her previous owner, they want the best for her and is available for adoption right now!

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
