Amanda came in to care with her 3 brothers when they were 4 weeks old. They had been handed in to a local vet clinic without a mum and suffering cat flu. One of the lovely nurses bottle fed them while treating them for cat flu and handed them over once they had recovered and were given a clean bill of health.
Amanda is such a little sweetie once she gets to know you but like most females, she likes to observe from a distance initially before she knows you are ok. She loves to spend the day playing with her brothers (and she is very feisty when she wants!), playing with toys but once she is ready for a snooze, she can be found sleeping on the bed amongst the pillows or wherever you and her brothers are. If it isn't too warm, she likes to sleep on your lap but if she is warm, a nice faux fur pillow is great as she likes to knead before getting into a comfy position.
Amanda is great with her litter and food but does like variety and isn't too fussed with raw meat, preferring good quality kitten food and her dry biscuits. Amanda would be better suited to a home with another cat or one of her brothers and possibly a family with older children or those that know she could need quiet time when she asks. She will be a great addition to her new people.
She is untested with a dog but a home with a cat friendly dog would be considered.
