Hello everyone, my name is Hawk and I am a sweet and gentle giant (I will be a very big boy when I finish growing).

My foster mum says I’m a very kind boy. Although I’m a bit timid in new situations and around new people, I warm up quickly and love snuggling up with my foster parents - I get excited when my foster dad gets home from work and I meet him with a wagging tail (but I don’t jump!).

I get along really well with my foster family’s smaller dog, we love playing together. I’m a bit unsure about the cats, I give them a wide berth around the house - I think I’d like to be friends but they don’t seem to want to be so I just avoid them. I’ve never tried to chase or bother them.

I much prefer having company and would love to have a fur sister or brother in my furever home. I'm learning my basic commands well, and I love treats which really helps! I have even learned to balance a treato on my nose and won't even eat it until you tell me.

I'm going to grow up to be a very big boy, even though I am gentle-natured. Because of my size I’d be better off with a family with older children or teenagers.

I would really like to be able to work on my training with you, I love learning and I love to show off to my foster parents with my clever tricks. I'd really love to learn new tricks with you too!

Hawk is $350 to adopt plus $100 desex bond*. Hawk will be adopted microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
