About Snow Pea
What's in a name? Snow Peas are also known as Sugar peas and Snow Pea is a perfect name for this very sweet cat!
Snow Pea had been living happily in a colony without a name but was friendly when approached so SAFE took her in. You will see she looks a little different, with smallish, dark eyes, so we had her eyes checked out by Dr Kelly at the Sydney Eye Clinic for Animals. She told us that one of Snow Pea's irises is stuck to the inside of her cornea but that is nothing to worry about and despite this her eye is fully functional and healthy and she can see perfectly.
Apparently this is quite a common condition and is usually caused by either trauma or a burst ulcer resulting from flu. In fact, overall, Snow Pea is a healthy girl with a beautiful white medium hair coat and a fabulous bushy tail.
At SAFE Haven Snow Pea has to be coaxed out of hiding and at first she is very cautious, but once she knows that you just want to stroke her she just LOVES it and doesn't want you to stop!
This beautiful young girl is very gentle, sweet and lovable. Do you have a safe place she can call home, a quiet place where she can trust you to give her lots of lovely strokes? She is waiting.....
