Hi! I'm Betsy. I'm a 1-year-old Australian cattle dog mix.💖💖
Foster mum say's I'm an absolute sweetheart. I have a lovely nature and just love everyone and everything. I'm an active girl and need a home with space to run.
I'm great with kids, but I get overexcited and occasionally forget the new rules and jump up. I'm doing well learning "4 paws on the floor", but for this reason Foster mum says I'm best with older kids.
I am extremely dog social, and my forever home absolutely MUST have a young, energetic dog sibling for me to play with. I live with dogs of all ages and play happily with puppies and older dogs. I'm not fussed on the cats here at foster mum's place.
I'm very intelligent and learn quickly. I sit & wait patiently for my food. I know how to sit, drop & touch. I would love a home where I can continue my learning. I'm house trained and know to go outside & use the lawn. I
I’m looking for an active home that is prepared to include me in their daily lives. My new family must understand the physical & mental needs of working breeds, & the importance of ongoing training & socialisation.
If that's you, my foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love & licks,
Betsy xx
Medical notes
Gorgeous Betsy came into care after being struck by a car resulting in a nasty fracture to her left hind leg (Tibula & Fibula). The wonderful north coast community rallied behind Betsy to raise funds towards the necessary surgery. Betsy has recovered well and is like any other dog. She enjoys running around, bush walks and playing with her friends. There are no long term issues anticipated. We are happy for the successful applicant to chat with the wonderful surgeon who performed this difficult surgery.
