About Pixie
Pixie is a very special pup who has stolen the hearts of her foster family with her sweet and gentle nature and streak of mischievous fun.
Pixie would be the perfect addition to almost any family looking for a friendly, quiet, no-nonsense pet to add to their lives.
Pixie is a little timid and hesitant when she is by herself meeting new people in new environments. Having been raised with two confident, older foster siblings who always take the lead in new situations, we have realised that she will be happier and much more confident with another dog in her new home to continue offering her guidence and she grows up.
Pixie's new family will need to be prepared to give her a little time and space to get used to her new home. However, once they have gained her trust, Pixie will blossom into the most affectionate, tolerant, “bomb proof” dog that anyone could wish for. Pixie adores quiet, gentle children and will sleep on their lap or on their bed almost as if she is a cat.
She is a tiny dot of a Bull Arab. Much smaller than her brothers) and is not expected to grow any bigger than a kelpie.
She is fine with cats and does not bat an eyelid when they are near her. She has been exposed to sheep, cows, horses and alpacas during her time in foster care and while she is interested in them, she is easily distracted away from them and will leave them be when asked. She is polite around other dogs and avoids any kind of conflict - but she would love the company of a smaller, gentle, playful older desexed male dog in her new home. She checks in with the resident dogs often and would be happiest with another dog in her new home. For this reason, we will only consider homes with a confident male pup who will be happy to take a 'little sister' under his wing.
She is mostly toilet trained but still needs a reminder to go outside regularly to avoid accidents.
Pixie loves her daily walk and she walks beautifully on a lead - she is currently walked with three other dogs and will thrive with more one on one attention in her new home. Pixie’s ideal home would be with a young family with gentle children aged 5 years and over to shower her with love and affection. A retired single person or couple with lots of time on their hands and dog-friendly caravan plans in their future would also be a perfect fit for this girl. Pixie asks for no more than to sit by the side of those she loves and be surrounded by kindness and love for the rest of her life.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
