About Pumpkin
Pumpkin is a special little girl looking for a very special owner who will see past her physical imperfections to be blinded by love. And how could you not fall in love? pumpkin is everything a kitten should be: affectionate, loving, playful – and unbearably cute! pumpkin has lovely markings and a british short hair’s big round face- hence her name pumpkin!
but little pumpkin has had a difficult start to life. Pumpkin has nutritional secondary hyperparathyroidism, which means that as a tiny kitten, she wasn’t feed enough calcium for her bones to grow strong and healthy; in essence, this has affected the bone growth in her back, tail and pelvis. Even as a special needs cat, this adorable girl doesn’t ask for much – just an indoor life, good quality food and a living space without too many difficult hurdles. She would struggle with stairs so a baby gate might be in order if you have two storeys in your home. Pumpkin could become a little constipated occasionally but some wet food here and there should take care of it. This clever girl can use a litter tray with no problems and shouldn’t have any ongoing expenses related to the condition
no need to feel sorry for her – pumpkin certainly doesn’t feel sorry for herself; she just gets on with the business of enjoying life. Adopting a rescue kitty is a wonderful thing to do. Adopting a kitten like pumpkin buys you major karma points and warmth in your heart that is difficult to describe. Little pumpkin sees other kittens going off to their new homes and wonders when it will be her turn to find her happy ever after. Maybe you’ve got the answer?
