About Helga Hissburger
Helga 'Hissberger' is ready for her furrever home!
Helga is a bit of a scaredy cat. She came from the streets and had babies, but they died. She's doing *really* well in foster care and gets on well with the other adult cat in the house. Another foster kitten really brought Helga out of her shell, she's a natural Meowmy so she really needs to have other cats in the household (this is non-negotiable). She adores other cats. She'll share her food and bed, give them good long washes and play rough and tumble all day long. She's a very gentle soul.
Helga got the name 'Hissberger' as she was a bit hissy at first. It was mostly for show as she always loved a good scritch. She's more Helga Purrberger now - this girl purrs like a helicopter! In fact, when she gets going she she purrs so hard she almost chokes herself and runs out of breath!
Helga needs some patient Hoomans who will carry on being gentle and encouring with her. She's gone from hiding most of the time to being quite social. She really loves gentle strokes from the top of her head to the tip of her tail, which she shakes when she's super happy. She's learning to take biscuits gently from her foster Mama's hand, she's just started to sit on laps and she's learning how to play with toys.
This sweet girl deserves a loving furrever home. Can you offer her one? Submit an enquiry now!
Helga Hissburger is a healthy cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010004883245, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now! Ensign Pawcard III is a healthy who's been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated and microchipped (microchip #956000012984735, source #RE101165). He is available for PRE adoption. A deposit can be made to hold the cat until he is ready for adoption. Adoption is not available till vet work/desexing has been completed and healed. Pawcard will be desexed and both he and Helga will have their second vaccinations in the next week or two (whenever we can book them in).

Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
