About Neuka DL2647 & Denaihee DL2646
Neuka and Denaihee are twins and you can't convince them otherwise. They are inseparable four year old sisters who look identical in every way... well, except height.
Neuka is the Dobie (long legs), beautiful and cuddly with people. She loves going for walks, though she isn't sociable with dogs other than Denaihee. You will need to be an experienced dog owner with the confidence to safely handle her on walks and continue this training. At home, she is a big marshmallow; her favourite thing to do is snuggle up and watch movies with you.
Denaihee is the Doxie (short legs). She loves going for walks too, jogging along on her little legs to keep up with Neuka. She is okay with other dogs once properly introduced, but she talks a big game. She'll also need ongoing socialisation training to work on this. She is very affectionate and likes being held. She will take any opportunity to sit on your lap. And no, going to the toilet doesn't guarantee you any personal space!
The big wide world is all very new and exciting to the girls. Whilst they do love getting out for adventures, you will need to be confident in training dogs, as they are still learning not to pull on the lead and not to react to passers by and cyclists. They need continued work on lead walking and recall. They do love treats and are fairly quick to learn, you'll just need to be consistent with your training.
We've been told both girls are friendly with people, including kids. As Denaihee isn't yet fully house trained, all family members will need to be patient and persistent when it comes to house training. They aren't suited to a home with cats.
The girls are very, very cuddly; they love nothing more than being loved and cuddled. If you would love to welcome them into your family, email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
Medical notes
Neuka’s hip X-rays have come back clear. She may require pain medication in the future if they begin causing her any discomfort, but she doesn’t require any treatment at this time.
