Ripper is a beautiful natured puppy, full of energy and confidence. He is incredibly clever and has already learnt to sit, lie patiently for food and use the dog door. He loves to play with his pull ropes, squeaky toys and teddy bears. As with all pups, he can get into lots of mischief and loves to gnaw and chew anything in sight. But when play time is over, Ripper loves to cuddle on the couch with you and if stimulated enough during play-time, he will sleep for hours during the day.

Ripper is a pup who always wants to be by your side. Wherever you go, Ripper will follow and want to be included in all activities. When Ripper can’t be with you, he gets disappointed and can cry. Ripper hates missing out on anything!

Ripper has a healthy appetite and is food orientated. He sleeps through the night. His toilet training is improving and if he has easy access to outside, he will go out to do his business.

Ripper gets very excited when meeting other dogs. He is currently living with the resident 4-year-old kelpie and can be boisterous in his play. The kelpie is currently teaching Ripper social etiquette and Ripper is improving with his over excitable personality. Ripper is not cat friendly, however will happily tolerate chickens if enclosed.

A note from the foster carer: “Ripper was advertised 2 weeks ago. Now his requirements have been reassessed; we can now perfectly find the right home for him. I can imagine Ripper living in a place with a large back yard or on a property where he can potter around with his new family during the day and follow them around while completing their errands outside; followed by inside snuggles in the evening of course! Having an older tolerant dog to teach Ripper social manners and a dog to look up to would be a benefit too”.
