Africa has had a tough start to life. She was left behind by the tenant in a public housing unit heavily pregnant to fend for herself. She gave birth to five babies under a bush until they were discovered by the new tenant and were rescued. Please only apply if you meet the criteria below because this little lady deserves the best future.

Africa is a very small cat at only 2.8kg, 14 months of age. She is shy and timid and will need a few days to come out of her shell. So you will need to be patient and give her some space initially.

Africa will make a wonderful companion pet for someone who likes a snuggle buddy on the sofa (she loves to watch tv) or in bed with you. She enjoys pats but isn’t too keen on being carried around or picked up.

Africa's forever home needs to be reasonably quiet, with no young children. She is fine with non-aggressive cats and dogs but is easily bullied by territorial, dominant pets. She loves to play and sleep with other pets. As with all our rescue kitties, she must be kept indoors.

Africa is microchipped, desexed, vaccinated and flea/worm treated with a perfect bill of health from the vet. She comes with all her vet papers and certificates, is fully litter trained and does not scratch furniture or jump on countertops.
