Beautiful Macy is still looking for her family. ❤

She is an absolute treasure and a total ray of Sunshine, so we are more than a little surprised that her carer has not been inundated with requests to meet her.

We figured a fancy photo shoot may just do the trick .. so we could show of her outside beauty too.

To say she had the time of her life is an understatement.

Macy was dumped in the pound shortly after having pups.

Not even a year old herself, there was no sign of her pups and she was a sad and sorry sight for sure.

She was described as being a ‘whippet type’ (maybe because she was so under weight).

As she has gained weight and her personality has blossomed we see more of a labrador .. but who knows for sure ?

That is the wonder of rescue.

Regardless of her DNA she is a friendly, sweet, affectionate and happy dog who absolutely loves life.

The welcome she gives you on your return home is simply wonderful …her body jiggles, her tail goes crazy, her face lights up and she genuinely and wholeheardedly smiles.

Whoever becomes this little girls forever person will never go a day without feeling loved beyond belief.

Dinner time is another highlight of Macys day … she dances and prances like you wouldn’t believe, yep she loves her tucker this one.

Her love of food and treats make her a dream to train … just shout out “treat” and she will come a running from wherever she is with that great big smile on her face.

Macy is incredibly gentle and respectful taking her treats and has no food aggression at all .. she will happily share with her foster siblings (if she must ).

Macy is learning to walk on a lead but this is a work in progress.

She loves to run, frolic and play and has great recall.

In public she is super friendly with everyone she meets, loves a pat from any passing humans and a sniff or a chase from any doggos she sees.

Initially she was afraid of the water but she has proved to be a real water baby.

She yet has to experience a trip to the beach but we just know she would love it.

Macy has been learning some manners and basic instructions while in care.

She sits, comes and shakes hands.

She actually taught herself to shake hands and does so uninvited if she wants a pat.

Her favourite game at the moment is soccer .. she will play forever if you let her.

Macy really will be a wonderful addition to an active family.

Super dog friendly, she would go great with another active dog or in a home where she is able to get lots of doggie socialization.

She is a good girl who does not swing off your washing on the line or chew your furniture.

She has been known to steal a thong here and there (lets blame foster mommas delightfully smelling feet shall we? ).

Macy is in foster care in Darra and her adoption fee is $495.

She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is up to date with her flea and worm treatment.

She is medium sized and is about a year old.
