About Camilla
🌼 SWEET DREAMS, CAMILLA 🌼
"Oh hello, my name is Camilla and I'm looking for a Sunday fiesta buddy! You see I have this lovely, soft, fluffy coat that I just can't keep to myself because it's so fabulous. Foster mum says that I'm really beautiful (and I can't say I don't agree!). I have very polite manners and lots of personality, especially once I get to know you well. I didn't always have such a nice life and I came from an incredibly sad situation, so now that I'm living great and have found what true happiness is, I've learnt to love all the house cat stuff like playing with toy mice and scrunchy balls which I can fetch for you. I might try to trick you into thinking you haven’t already fed me, but that’s just because I LOVE food! It used to be something that I would have to search around for, but now that I know I just have to meow (at 4am, of course) I feel a lot better and am not so skinny anymore.
I've really found my voice lately and love telling my people all about my day, and it's even better when they meow back at me. I also love taking naps in the sunshine coming through the window and it's even better if my foster mum stretches out on the bed with me. Cuddling in the sun is so good for the soul, trust me! I live with a dog in my foster home and even though I was scared at first, we are now great friends and I enjoy his company all day long. I haven't met dogs with a lot of energy before so quieter dogs would suit me best. I would probably be fine on my own as long as you spend time with me but having a fur friend in the house would be the ultimate dream."
Camilla is a sweet girl that is best suited to a home where she has an animal companion. She would live happily with older children who can respect her space while she settles into her new home. Camilla has lived with a medium to large dog and enjoys his company. Camilla has lived with many cats before and adjusts well to new cats.
All adult cats are sent to potential new homes on a one to two week trial after an initial meet and greet before finalising adoption. While adult cats do take longer than this to settle into a new home, it allows a chance to see how the cat is coping with the new environment.
