Gertrude ❤

Introducing Gertrude, a very special lady!
Poor little Gertrude has had a really rough start to life. First she had to fend for herself as a stray street kitten while suffering in silence with an awful infection. However with an effective dose of antibiotics and a steady course of wet food bribes in foster care, Gertrude finally started to blossom into the independent loving kitty that she is.

One day, she bravely decided that she wanted to sample some of the pats that all her foster siblings were getting. She was scared at first but then Gertrude was absolutely HOOKED on pats! Could not get enough of the full body pats, side pats, the head scritches, the cheek rubs, you name it. Because Lady Gertrude is so very generous, she likes to return the favour by licking your patting hand out of love. Licking and grooming you is her love language and she would suit a home where she can fully express her affections.

With her multi-tonal coat of splotches and stripes, her delicate footwork and her inquisitive polite manner are sure to delight. She loves to chase the laser pointer, chase small rustling toys, and sit beside you or share your chair as you work away. Gertrude would like a feline friend who is laid back and will accept her affections however she might be ok with being a solo cat as well.

Gertrude would love a place where she can watch the outside world from high off the ground. Ideally in a catio enclosure if you have one! She is a very brave girl and deserves a forever home that is sensitive to her needs and can accommodate both her independence plus her loving nature.
