Hopefully you did clap – cause I am super cute!!!
I'm a happy and bouncy little guy that can't wait to meet my forever family. I have been living with my foster parents and fur siblings for a little while now, but it's time for me to move into my new home.
Since I live with a small breed dog at the moment, I know that I like company and love playing, but I also don't mind my alone time if you want me to be your one and only.
I'm not too sure about big dogs yet, sometimes their size and noise startles me (Im still excited to see that they notice me though!).
I used to be a little shy and unsure of new people, so I'm hoping that my new family can understand that I'm still learning to be confident in new places. I do a bit of a naughty thing when I first meet people – I like to run real close to them and bark at them and then shuffle back a bit and then repeat – I usually do this for a minute or two until I work out you’re going to ignore me and then I am all good – like I am so cute that it’s quickly ignored and people are just super keen to give me attention.
When I came into care I was very very scared of my foster dad – he’s a tall guy but he is awesome he made sure I was comfortable and gave me treats to win me over – I learnt pretty quickly he’s a great guy but I may do this if my new dad meets me – sorry in advance!! Just please give me a chance :-)
My foster mum says I have a few quirks (I like to dance on my back legs when I am happy or reminding you to hurry up and feed me, or I want a pat and your not giving me attention), I also like to bring a twig or leaf in from outside and chew it all up on the carpet / couch but I promise I will give you a huge smile after it and you will instantly melt and all will be good again!
I haven't been around children much and when they are loud or running around they do make me a bit unsure – but I’m good around teenagers.
My ideal home will be with someone who is home more often then not or who works from home – I’m still young so I would like to be a part of my families lives. I do sleep on my foster mums bed and this is something I would like to continue with – I mean just think we can snuggle on the couch and then snuggle in bed together (after you have told me how cute I am at least 3 times that day!)
Cats don’t bother me either unless they get more attention than me and I’ll have to learn to push them out the way to get to you – or I will do my dancing and get all your attention.
I have a coat that does require grooming so please keep this in mind when applying as it’s an ongoing expense.
If you think you could make me part of your family & are interested in applying to adopt me, please send thru an adoption application.
** Please note applications will close Wednesday 17th February 2021 at 5.30pm

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
