About Mila
Surrendered to DCH by owners who could no longer look after her, Mila was initially a little shy but an affectionate girl when she gets to know you. She is happy to spend her days by herself asleep but will settle on her carer's knee for a chin rub after dinner and will stay close at night for a cuddle. She adores being brushed and will chase after the brush if it's taken away. She's also very vocal when it comes to meal times and will let you know when she's hungry.
Mila’s comfort in her new foster home has been somewhat constrained by a young kitten in our care: it seems the kitten's constant need to run about and play is a bit too much for Mila sometimes when all she wants to do is laze around. This probably means her new home may best be one either without other young kitties or with kitties who are not as energetic as her current companion.
Before she came into our care, Mila was described as overall a beautiful cat. Friendly, so cuddly, loves pats and cuddles, would just come and lay next to you whenever she sees you're around, loves toys and running after things. She's very smart and knows her food schedule really well.
Mila is microchipped, desexed and has had the first of her vaccinations. She is an indoor only cat.
Please email us if you'd like to learn more about this black beauty, or arrange a meet and greet at her temporary home in Potts Point.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
