About Dusty
Hi, my name is Dusty and after a bit of a rough start, I can't believe I'm ready for a wonderful life with a forever family.
I'm super sweet and being loved by people is just the best thing! My favourite things are playing fetch, playing with a ball, throwing toys in the air, going for a walk (I'm quickly learning how to walk on the lead but I can pull when I get excited so more training is needed) food and cuddles with you.
Although initially shy of people, I quickly warm up to you and it doesn't take long for you to be my favourite person in the world. If you think we are the perfect match, I'm ready to meet you!
Dusty has recently found to have hip dysplasia, this is a condition that will need to be managed throughout his life. We know having an active breed dog with hip issues will find it hard for him to go to his forever home. Is someone out there happy to take a chance on this sweet boy?
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
