Chaplin was found as a stray and thankfully was brought into the Devonport Animal Care Centre. Soon after arriving at the Centre, we discovered he had a nasty wound on the side of his neck, most likely from fighting over territory with other cats. The wound was assessed and treated by the wonderful staff at Sheffield Veterinary Clinic and is now fully healed.

We've found Chaplin to be not keen on being in close quarters with other cats, so a single-cat home is for him, where he can just chill and interact with his humans when he needs some love. Chaplin has also displayed a knack for catching sparrows and critters that enter his pen, so if kept safe and inside at all times, Chaplin will make quite the expert pest controller.
