Bring on the heavy weight. This big boy is no petite Pete! Weighing in at 68kg, Bear is one of the largest dogs we have ever had in care. Landing in a regional pound and very misunderstood, Bear was saved by Angel-Paws with only an hour to spare.
Once back in a home environment Bear settled in quickly and became part of the pack within minutes. Bear is a very loyal dog and is very protective of his family, particularly the family’s 2 year old.
Bear is learning basic commands but can be a bit stubborn. He will need to go to a family that will be firm with him and continue discipline and training.
Bear is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and it will be the new owner’s responsibility to continue to treat this condition until he is cleared.

First you need to email and inquire about whatever animal you are looking at to find out more information. If you believe this animal may suit you we will discuss the adoption process and go from there. All our animals are located in Townsville, North Queensland. If you are interstate or not a local the Angel Paws team are more than happy to answer as many questions you have about the animal to ensure they are the right one for you. We are also able to provide more pictures from the animals foster carers to assist you on your decision. The rest of the adoption process all depends on those first steps.
