Hello! I’m Arnold, a one year old purebred kelpie, and I am looking for my perfect match.

True to my breed I am fun loving, energetic, playful, intelligent, entertaining and full of energy. I love to learn and I love to use my brain to solve all of life’s questions - like where do sky raisins come from? How many balls can I hold in my mouth? And why do my people wear chew toys on their feet?

I am your typical Covid pup. Purchased when there was plenty of downtime but no chance to complete structured training sessions where I would have normally been able to develop my training repertoire. I am learning quickly though and I now know how to walk better on a lead, I am toilet trained and I am learning sit and wait. I am also working on sleeping in a crate and will spend the night there in peaceful slumber.

I do however need someone to continue my training and to teach me the more advanced concepts behind not jumping when excited and how to “capture calmness”.

I have not been living, nor fostered with cats up until this point so given my herding instincts I would not be suitable to life with a cat. And due to my boisterous behaviour I am likely to be too much for a young family and would prefer older children who are dog savvy and can help train me.
