Hi, my name is Simba! I have lots of energy and lots of love to give.
I like to spend my days playing with my fur foster sister and lying on my bed outside. I am still a pup so I have high bursts of energy throughout the day, but I burn it off pretty quickly and then go back to lazing around. While I do enjoy playing with my fur foster sister, I am content to hang out and play on my own, so I would be suited to a home both with or without another dog.
Once I have finished playing of the day I like to come inside and give cuddles while getting head scratches, before going to bed where I sleep inside in my crate at night without a peep. So a family willing to let me be inside with the rest of the family would be essential.
My foster Mum says that because I am so food-driven, I am quite easy to train and am now toilet trained and can sit well. I still haven’t fully grasped many other commands yet, but I am trying my best and think I will soon have it down pat. So I would love to go to a furever family who are willing to keep going with my training and help me learn new tricks.
As mentioned, I am very food driven so I get very excited around mealtimes, however I have now learnt to sit calmly and stay until I am told I can eat.
Because I am a puppy, I can be a bit jumpy and I am quite large so because of my playful nature I would be better suited to a home with no small children as I would hate to accidentally knock them over. I have a cat foster sister and while I am not aggressive towards her, I get a bit excited every time I see her. My foster family have not let me be around her whilst outside of my crate or unrestrained in case I accidentally hurt her by jumping or playing to excitedly.
If you think I sound like the dog for you, I hope to meet you soon!
