About Sax
Sax is a gentle and affectionate Wolfie mix in her senior years aged 8 to 9 calm, obedient and house-trained.
She spends a lot of her day lazing in the breeze on the back deck, but she always likes to know you're not too far away. She's fine left on her own, but loves you coming home.
She loves her nightly walks, and responds well on the Halti. She's getting fitter day by day, and losing weight.
She doesn't worry the chickens, and she's great with strangers and other dogs. She might not be suitable for families with small children, though, simply because of her size (don't get whipped by that waggy tail!)
Medical notes
She is on weekly Carprohen for her joints & Rose hip granules daily.
When Sax first arrived she was very unfit , hardly ever walked.
Now she is feeling better everyday , with her carer increases her daily exercise 🙂
Good work x

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
