Hi, my name is River! I am a quirky 2 year old kelpie mix lass who is looking for an experienced working dog home..

Whilst I look sweet and innocent, I absolutely need a home where people are patient, have experience with training and who know my Kelpie breed. I need someone who will be my leader and my best friend. I need clear boundaries so I understand what what I AM allowed to do, and what I am NOT allowed to do. This will help me be calm and listen to commands instead of becoming overexcited.

I am dog social and I also like humans very much. I am in care at a farm dog daycare and I get to meet lots of other breeds of dogs every day. I am a busy girl who needs to be kept mentally and physically stimulated each and every day. I sometimes chase flies and thunder which can be common amongst us herding breeds when looking for something fun to do for entertainment in our past.

So if you're up for the challenge to train me and include me in your life, funny little quirks and all, I will be forever yours 🐾
