Hi Hi Hi Hi!! I'm Maverick. It's soooo great to meet you! I'm a blue cattle x and I love people! I had a pretty hard start to life after being abandoned at a country pound. But Helping Hearts Animal Rescue have shown me so much love and how good people can be 🥰🥰🥰

I have a pretty big backyard that has no sneaky ways for me to get out so it's important that my furever home has good fencing too. I love running around the grass and using my sniffer to find all the tasty snacks! My foster mum says it's something about mental stimulation but I just think its yummy!

I am pretty chill, but do like chewing on some funky rubber and rope toys every now and then and I'm getting the idea of why they keep throwing the ball away from me. I am not so keen on the squeaky toys though - like, where does that weird noise come from?

Once I've played for a bit, eaten some food I really love having a nap and usually it's right next to my foster mama. If she isn't around or moving HEAPS (like, why do the people do so much stuff everyday?), I love laying next to the couch. When it's not so hot outside, I fall asleep right on my mama's lap. She gives the best head and chin scratches.

I am pretty clever at sitting because I just love liver treats! I'm starting to learn how to shake and an absolute natural on lead! I know I'm pretty smart though, so I'd love to go to puppy school and show off how much I can learn.

My foster mumma talks about going for outside for walks and car adventures which I think sounds SO cool, and I know after some puppy school lessons and practice, I'd be awesome out in the big wide world! I promise I will do my best to be an obedient boy and listen to my furever family!

I would love to live in a house where I can be outside and inside. I wouldn't be happy outside all the time because I love being with my peeps. I am still getting the hang of going to the toilet outside only, but with help I just know I can do it! I am only young after all.

Because I have grown up with lots of company, I’d prefer a house with another friendly doggo or parents that are home a lot. I wouldn’t be able to go outside by myself when you’re at work every day. I’d be too lonely.

If you have a Maverick shaped hole in your heart or family, I'd LOVE to meet you and become part of your family. I promise to give you all of the lovely licks and puppy smooches. You know that puppy smell they talk about? Yeah, I have that... Just sayin'!
