About Opie
Our dear little old man Opie is looking for a special kind of forever home.
Opie came in quite some time ago with 4 of his friends in a bit of a state. He has received medical care, lots of TLC and is now ready to meet his forever person to live out the rest of his days in comfort.
Opie is approx 15 and a half years young and needs a human who is happy to Netflix & snuggle. He enjoys relaxed strolls in the grass, sleeping and gentle playtime.
Due to Opies age, he has a few ongoing treatments for medical concerns such as suspected arthritis and dry eyes. Since being on medication, both of these issues have improved and he is a different dog from when he was surrendered to us back in November.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
