Presley ~ 3mo Kelpie X Cattle(On Trial 17/02/21)

Presley is a sweet and snuggly 12 week old Kelpie x Cattle Dog. Presley is a happy, easygoing boy just looking for a family to call his own.

Presley is very people oriented and wants to be around you all the time. His favourite thing is to snuggle up in your lap, and he will follow you around the house, happy to hang out at a safe distance in the kitchen while you cook or snooze under the desk while you work.

In his short time in foster care, Presley has learned to sit, shake, lay down and watch, all of which he picked up very quickly. He is also learning stay, wait and roll over, and needs a family committed to her ongoing training. He has taken very well to toilet training and has not had any accidents inside, however this does need further work and consistency. He is still learning to walk on the lead.

Being a high energy working breed, Presley requires plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. He loves kongs and enrichment toys that keep his mind entertained.

Presley is very friendly with other dogs and would be happy with a furry sibling, however he would also be ok as an only dog. He has met a cat before and was interested and playful. Presley needs someone home most of the time, eg someone working from home or part-time, alternatively he would love to come along to work with you through the day. He is currently an inside dog and must be allowed inside in his new home. Presley needs secure fencing, minimum 5ft and preferably colorbond.

As Presley is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens as he will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he is approximately 5 months old. Unfortunately this means that we will not allow interstate or out of area adoption.

Presley’s adoption fee is $600 and he is microchipped, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. Presley is currently in foster care in Maitland, NSW.
