About Jake
Meet Jake.
Jake is a beautiful 1 year old Wolfhound mix.
Jake was handed into the shelter as he was wandering the streets. Further information given to the shelter was his owner was homeless so Jake has never had a proper home.
Although Jake is a lovely young fella he will need a bit of training as he has not had any, this shows from the assessments we have conducted at the Shelter.
Jake was pretty scared when he 1st came to the shelter, but over the next few days of being here, he has come out of his shell. He loves to get out and play with his ball and do zoomies around the yard. Jake gets on well with other dogs. We have not been able to test Jake with cats, chickens or livestock, so any interaction with these animals would need to be observed and monitored until you know how he reacts.
Jake has a big smile and is very loving and will make a loyal companion at his new forever home. If you lead an active, adventurous lifestyle, Jake is your boy.

Adoption details
The adoption process at the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in an animal, please apply via pet rescue, the Shelter staff will then review applications and phone selected applicants for a meet and greet. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone.
Once you have been selected as the right applicant for the animal, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Animal Shelter by eftpos ONLY (Via phone can be arranged after a meet and greet with the animal), provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated, if not already desexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic.
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog (to be desexed after adoption) - $280.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $180.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) - $200.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $125.00
The following is included with all sales,
Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm, flea & tick treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)
Special adoption pack (Full of goodies)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
